Happy 25th Anniversary

Am I doing Odaiba Memorial right?
(Side note: The fansubs for Paul no Miracle Daisakusen have been completed, although I personally haven't watched the last eight episodes yet.)
In any case, today is the 25th anniversary of the events of Digimon Adventure, an anime which holds a special place in my heart and inspired my interest in isekai anime. I have a new fanfic written for the occasion over on AO3, about the experience of the international chosen children, and checking through the #Digimon0801 hashtag on twitter or the digimon tag on pixiv today is always a joy; I'm far from the only one celebrating today with fanworks. There should be a new PV released at 7 PM JST today, as well; the official digimon accounts have been heavily promoting it.
And in the spirit of this blog, I've selected some digimon screencaps. Have a great day everyone!
The longest, and shortest,summer vacation ever...
There's a reason we call it Odaiba Memorial... we must not forget that not every digimon survived this adventure (though the deaths were mostly on the 3rd) ;_;
Mimimon, : edition.
Once again, Oikawa was right.
and one of those messages worth remembering... listening to digimon music is one of those things that often cheers me up in dark times. We pursue greatness as best we can in this world, so let's not forget the story of the Dark Seed children.
Our e-mails defeated Diablomon and our hopes and dreams defeated BelialVamdemon. No matter life's disappointments, we must never forget our power.
Have a great 8/1.
